Helping Ulladulla swimmers start strong

At Community Bank South Coast, we’re passionate about supporting local clubs that create opportunity, build confidence, and help young people thrive.

That’s why we were proud to sponsor Ulladulla Swim Club with new backstroke ledges, a piece of equipment that’s proven to be a game changer.

Until now, club members found it difficult to start races in line with competition rules. These ledges now give swimmers the right footing (quite literally) to begin each race strong and with proper technique.

Our Community Engagement Manager, Caroline Boland, had the pleasure of seeing the impact firsthand.

“It was great to see the kids using the backstroke ledges, two young girls even came up and personally thanked me. They were so happy to finally have the right gear to practice and compete.”

It’s a meaningful example of how community investment creates ripple effects, improving skills, boosting confidence and bringing smiles to young faces.
