We’ve put +$1.6 million back into local community projects. That’s at last count and it’s always growing.
Over the last 20+ years, we’ve distributed over $1,600,000 to local organisations, causes and projects throughout the Shoalhaven area. We are extremely proud of this and the amazing stories that come about because of this support.
We love telling stories of the projects we’ve funded, how they’ve impacted and enriched our local area, and contributed towards a thriving community.

Little Forest is Stronger Together
What a day out at Little Forest for their annual Stronger Together Day. Little Forest is a tight-knit community with one road in and one road out, and one that felt the 2020 bushfires deeply. Out of those hard days grew something special: an annual day where neighbours come together to plan ahead, share local knowledge and make sure everyone knows what to do when fire threatens. 173 people brought home safely
Sussex Inlet Marine Rescue crews responded to 75 incidents on the water this last year, bringing 173 people home safely. Behind every call-out is a base that never really switches off, fielding 6,262 comms to its radio room and 245 formal vessel log ons, plus another 608 people who checked in separately just to say they were out there. Across those 75 incidents, 1,418 people were on board, each one relying on a crew of local volunteers ready to go at any hour. Community Bank
Safer beach days
A popular Bawley Point beach now has important safety equipment close by, thanks to community support and a practical local project focused on helping people when it matters most. Milton’s music-filled weekend
Milton came alive from in May for the Milton Folk, Jazz and Blues Festival, a three-day celebration of music, culture and community across the town’s parks, pubs, cafes and venues. Helping keep Sussex Inlet safer
When people are in trouble on local waterways, Marine Rescue Sussex Inlet volunteers are often among the first to respond. A simple community cookbook is now doing something pretty special... helping raise funds to support children and young people with their education.
