Community Bank South Coast’s Community Engagement Manager Caz Boland, recently headed along to the Marine Rescue Sussex Inlet Open Day, where the local crew put on a great day out for the community.

The event featured educational boat tours, flare and rescue demonstrations, kids’ jet skis, a BBQ, Devonshire teas and a raffle, with local radio station 2ST on hand for the fun and giveaways.

Behind the fanfare is a dedicated volunteer base that works to keep local waterways safe, day in and day out. Community Bank South Coast is proud to support Marine Rescue Sussex Inlet, and says a day like the Open Day is a great reminder of just how much the service does for the community.

“The team at Sussex Inlet are such a great crew, I really did have fun and the turnout was fantastic,” said Caz Boland, Community Engagement Manager at Community Bank South Coast. “It’s a great chance for locals to see the volunteers in action and say thanks too.”

Community Bank South Coast, operated by Woodstock Financial Services Ltd, has returned more than $1.8 million to local community groups and organisations since 2004, supporting initiatives like Marine Rescue that keep the South Coast community safe and connected.
