The MAKAI Cup has wrapped up for another year and it was a fantastic day on the water. With strong attendance, plenty of action and great feedback from both competitors and spectators, the event was a clear success and another great showcase of ocean sport and local partnership.

Community Bank South Coast was proud to support the event again in 2026.

Community Engagement Manager Caroline Boland said supporting events like the MAKAI Cup is about backing the people and community groups that help bring events, energy and connection to the region.

“Events like the MAKAI Cup are such a great example of community in action. They bring people together, create a really exciting atmosphere and celebrate the incredible talent within our local sporting community,” Caroline said.

“We’re proud to support events like the MAKAI Cup because when local customers support our community bank, we can give back to the events and initiatives that make our area such a great place to live. Everyone benefits”, she said.

Congratulations to all competitors who took part, especially to the placegetters in this year’s event.
