Milton came alive from in May for the Milton Folk, Jazz and Blues Festival, a three-day celebration of music, culture and community across the town’s parks, pubs, cafes and venues. With over 70 free performances across more than 20 venues, the festival created a brilliant buzz throughout the town.
Community Bank South Coast was proud to support the festival and to be part of a weekend that brought so many people together.
Community Bank South Coast's Caroline Boland said the atmosphere was incredibly special.
“It was such an incredible event. The town was buzzing and it was so exciting to see bands and performers from across Australia and around the world sharing their music in Milton. The opening night at the Milton Theatre was wonderful and something we were so proud to be part of. It set the tone for a really memorable weekend.”

For Caroline, one of the most powerful parts of the festival was seeing local groups supporting each other behind the scenes.
“We really got to see our community come together. Mollymook Surf Life Saving Club was there providing first aid, Treading Lightly was recycling materials from the event and Robyn from Shoalhaven Palliative Care was helping them out too. There were so many community groups that we've supported contributing in different ways and backing one another. That was honestly one of the best things to see.”
The weekend was also a lovely opportunity to introduce Bec Tapper, Community Bank South Coast’s new Branch Manager to local people.
“It was really exciting to have Bec there with us and begin introducing her to the community. She is so looking forward to getting to know the people, groups and businesses that make this place so special,” Caz said.
The Milton Folk, Jazz and Blues Festival is run by a dedicated local volunteer committee with a vision to bring more culture and vibrancy to the community through music and art. This year’s festival was a beautiful reminder of just how powerful local events can be, filling streets, supporting venues and creating moments people will remember long after the music stops. We were so proud to stand proudly behind it all.
Community Bank South Coast congratulates the organisers, performers, venues, volunteers and community groups who helped make the 2026 festival such a success. For more information visit miltonfolkjazzbluesfestival.com
